Oh Hey There...

[Cough] [Dusts blog off]

Oh hey, I'm back.

I think the plan for next  semester will be shorter-entries but more often. Well, I mean, we'll see ;)

BAH. I don't know what to say!

Ok, I'll just start typing and see where it gets me...

I moved out of my dorm Thursday. It was weird.

Everything about this past week and a half was bittersweet to say the least.
Suddenly all tram rides resulted in me hugging poles and thinking, "Oh what a nice tram. Taking me places. Keeping me warm on the way to school. Oh tram, I'll miss you."

"Oh hey dorm, with your koo-koo reception ladies and that one false fire alarm that went off at 3 AM that I chose to ignore unless I saw flames, I'll miss you"

"Alibi, with your same music playlist blasting each Monday (Rihanna always sang in the background of my sleep at 1 AM), you became a comforting lullaby. I'll miss you."

"Oh Sidewalk, you blessed blessed sidewalk. I'll miss you."

On Tuesday night I had a "See ya, Syl" party. It was wonderful :) We danced and danced and danced and just had the best time!

Thursday I had to move out of my dorm and give my blessed cousin basically all of my belongings to be transported to her house. Thank you Stano and Justy for helpin' a girl out with my 10 bags of lawd knows what. Honestly, I think my belongings bred over night.

At 15:50 I made my way to the train station, bought my ticket, and waited around for Stano and Marketa who had a train to Czech 10 minutes after me.

At 16:20 Stano and I went to my platform. A few seconds later Marketa got there and, well...

Times 3.

Then I boarded the train because it was paacckeed (not as packed as it was on the weekend of All Saints Day, but packed no less) and wanted to claim my spot.

My train wasn't leaving for another 6 minutes or so I just stood there like blumbering dumby waving good-bye

Byeeeeee I'LL MISS YOU!!!

Weeeehh. Why aren't we moving?

We're still here?

Weeehhhhh

Then Marketa and Stano had to leave and go to their platform.

My train started and I was off to my grandparents'.

Reflective essay about my semester coming soon...or ya know, we'll see ;)

Oo! And Polish Christmas post coming too!

Always,
